Maximum City is an award-winning summer program and enriched curricular experience for young city builders entering grades 4-7 (Junior Camp) and 8-12 (Senior Camp) operating since 2010. It is taught by leading experts and is hosted on the University of Toronto campus and nearby sites. Maximum City has partnered with local museums and artists on citybuidling themes, and the program includes a range of hands-on activities in urban topics such as architecture, urban design, the environment, technology, civic engagement and transit. The program culminates in a design challenge which asks students to solve a real-life problem in our urban environment. Each week at Maximum City focuses on a different urban theme such as designing better public spaces or welcoming newcomers; students are encouraged to sign up for single or multiple weeks as each theme will be a stand-alone topic that relates to the next. For more information visit the Maximum City website.

Program spots will be filled on an ongoing admissions basis. Please register early to avoid disappointment. There is a limited number of scholarships available for those who qualify based on financial need; please email info@maximumcity.ca for more details.
